Building a Buyer’s List
QUESTION:
Is there anything wrong with me running a ghost ad to find lease option prospects before I find a house ( building my buyers list first, find home second)
ANSWER:
Sounds like a good plan with the attorney. (From previous email about contacting an attorney and showing them the CP paperwork)
As for running a ghost ad looking for buyers, in my experience it’s been a complete waste of time. Get the property first and then get the buyers. I had a program called the “locator program” where we located buyers first and then found them houses…what a nightmare…
If you want to get up and running in one day, call other investors, get a lease option assignment deal, call the seller, tie up the property and put a yellow “rent to own” sign in the front yard. And if at all possible, put one at the street corner pointing to the property (if the city allows it). That right there is the recipe for success.
Hope that helps,
Adam
