Getting agents to work with you
QUESTION:
I was just wondering, because I had a real estate broker tell me that she wasn’t interested. I was a little puzzled. I didn’t try to sell anything to her. I just wanted her to check the market rates and do a group showing once I had the t/b prospects. I think I will go visit a property management company with 10 completed cooperative option contracts in hand. I will ask them if they can help me fill these 10 properties within 90 days or whatever time frame I negotiate.
ANSWER:
All you have to do is consider what they’re job is and what they like about it. I totally understand a Realtor saying she wasn’t interested. Think about it, their paycheck only comes when a house is sold. Call her back and tell her you have a beautiful house that’s undervalued and you want to dump it and she’ll be beating your door down!

RESPONSE:
I never looked at it that way. I looked at it from a lease option assignment only point of view. I never thought about the other exit strategies. I emailed her first never spoke with her on the phone. I think I may get a better response if the initial contact is by phone as opposed to by email. Thanks.
ADAM RESPONSE:
Understanding psychology, what people want/motivates them is key. Think about how I wrote the copy on the CP site. I catered directly to what your logic/emotion was looking for or you wouldn’t have purchased the course.
If you look at it from a “people” perspective you will NEVER go broke. That is, as long as you can cater to their needs. And on the flip side, if you can’t and just “wing it”, you’ll lose clarity on what steps to make and start thinking it’s the game that’s broken…or worse, that “you” are broken, which I can assure you your’e not. ![]()
Hope the helps,
Adam
