Adam. How should I go about making sure that I get paid when I do deals out of town or out of state?
ANSWER:
With contracts. Look at the sample joint venture/partnership agreements in the manual and run them past your attorney. Also, I would make sure I collect all money via wire or credit card, which you can use paypal for.
Again, when someone’s collecting a check and you’re not around it’s easy (and probable) that they’ll screw you.
Been there, done that.
